The HomeEd@SA Club is now on holiday for the Summer! Thanks for being with us and we’ll see you in September – have a great break.
Our 2017 programme at the Time Machine
Learning Experiences to remember
Home Education is the choice of many families, where a personally tailored learning journey is preferred. At Science Alive, we have plenty of experience in making learning exciting – so we hope your children will enjoy spending a day with us at the Time Machine Gallery. You can make new friends, relax in a friendly atmosphere and pick up some new ideas for home education activities.
Family Membership of HomeEd@SA is just £25 per year.
Membership includes free admission to our Weekly Wednesday – just turn up and enjoy what’s going on at the Time Machine gallery, including the workshop activity of the week.
It also provides a discount of £5 for each of our HomeEd Learning Days – a monthly programme of exciting and informative activities. Contact our office for further details.
Booking and payment arrangements
If there is sufficient demand, we usually offer two dates for each session – our Home Education programme is extremely popular. We accept advance bookings and advise booking early to avoid being disappointed. For all bookings, you will need to provide us with:
- the name/s of the child/children attending
- the age/s of children attending
- parent or carer contact details
The Time Machine Gallery is situated inside the Harlow Leisurezone, which has a cafe and swimming pool, on Second Avenue. Parking is included in the price of the sessions – just ask our reception desk staff for a car park token.
On entering the building, turn to your right, walk past the cafe and The Time Machine is right in front of you. The drop-off and pick-up times are 09.30-10.00 and 15.00-15.30 (but we are happy for you to stay and join in the fun should you wish to do so).
We ask that all Parents or Guardians sign the register to acknowledge our conditions when you bring your child. A packed lunch can be brought and eaten on site; we have our own cloakroom and toilet facilities. The gallery is fully accessible and we will do our best to meet individual needs if you explain any particular requirements.
