Science Alive Gallery Opening
The Science Alive Gallery finally opened its doors to the public on 23rd June and held its official opening on the 7th July.
The Gallery is situated on the ground floor of the Harlow Leisurezone. It is open to learners of all ages from four to one hundred and four and offers its users the exciting opportunity to investigate and use their imaginations in all aspects of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The official opening event on the 7th July included representatives from sponsors such as BAA, Glaxo Smith Kline and Harlow District Council. Supporters and volunteers were also present. As well as having the opportunity to try out the exhibits and learn more about the Gallery, a buffet and the necessary toast was enjoyed by the many participants.
Many people have looked forward to the opening of the Gallery and much hard work has been done to bring the ten year dream to fruition. It is now open to everyone with an interest in the Science and Technology that surrounds us all.
