This is the key appointment for a stunning Eastern Region STEM learning project.

Our vision is to make Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths accessible, exciting and relevant. In April 2010 we open our purpose-built visitor centre/learning gallery in Harlow, within the brand new LeisureZone sports and leisure complex - a unique facility.

Our target group will be learners from 4 to 104 years of age from among the 6m people; 1000 schools and thousands of businesses within a short drive of our new centre.

The Science Alive Project is looking to build a talented team
 
Harlow's Science Alive project is looking to recruit and train volunteer and paid designers, technicians and presenters this Autumn.

Science Alive uses STEM - Science Technology Engineering and Maths ideas to encourage interest and careers involving creativity, invention and design. Plans are well-advanced for a new hands-on learning centre serving London & the Eastern Region to open in 2010.

Ideal candidates for the team will have a strong creative background and a passion for communicating the big interest and big issues of the world around us.

The brand new visitor centre at Harlow Leisure Zone will be opening this year and we would welcome more volunteers to help run the centre. All you need to do is bring your enthusiasm. The National Learner Panel

The National Learner Panel is now recruiting for members to serve on the 2009 - 10 panel. Up to twenty learners aged 16 years or older who are in further education are recruited every year. The panel members provide a learner perspective to government on further education policy, based on their own experiences in learning and their ideas for improving learning in the future.
