The project launched in 2000, building on successful industry, government and education partnership
Supporters include Bill Rammell M.P.; Nortel; GSK, Harlow Council; Essex County Council; EEDA
Project Structure
Board of Directors: include representatives of GSK, Harlow Education Consortium; education, business and marketing consultants
Staffing team: a mix of paid and volunteers, providing project management & delivery (outreach)

Stimulating hands-on learning and career opportunities for students, employees and families
A focal point for businesses and educational establishments to work together for mutual benefit enhancing delivery of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)
Key Goals 2009-10
To open a purpose built 800 sq.m. centre within the Harlow Gateway Leisurezone in January 2010
To develop a market of 50,000 centre visitors within 2 years
