By Car: (free parking)
  1. From M11 (J7) and M25 (J27, six miles South), take A414 towards Harlow.
  2. Turn left onto A1025 – Second Avenue.
  3. The Leisurezone sports complex is located on your right after the second roundabout.
  1. From A10, take A414 towards Harlow.
  2. From the A414 River Stort bridge crossing you arrive at the Station roundabout.
  3. Take 3rd exit and cross two more roundabouts to A1019 – Velizy Avenue.
  4. Pass Harlow College on your left, take 1st exit at next roundabout onto Second Avenue.
  5. You will see The Leisurezone on your left.

Please note: As the Leisurezone has a new postcode it may not yet be recognised on all satellite navigation systems. The nearest building is Harlow College which has the postcode CM20 3LH.

Last admission 30 mins before closing. We strongly recommend phoning to check as we sometimes have staff training and close a little earlier!! Admission: £2 adult, £1 child (Under 5s Free) – all admission fees and donations help us to maintain and manage the Museum

By Car (free parking)

  1. From M11 (J7) and M25 (J27, six miles South) take A414 towards Harlow.
  2. Turn left at third roundabout onto First Avenue.
  3. Take the 2nd right off First Avenue into Muskham Road.
  4. Car parking is at the rear of the Museum (Disabled Parking available at the front entrance)

  4. Muskham Road is the last turning on the left before the A414.

Accessibility

Wheelchair: The Time Machine and the Harlow Museum and Walled Gardens are both suitable for visitors in wheel chairs and we have disabled rest room facilities. Please note that some pathways in the Gardens are shingle surfaced. Carers: If you have a carer to help you there is no admission charge for them. Assistance dogs: Assistance dogs are welcome at both sites, but otherwise please note that we do not allow other dogs. Parking: We have disabled parking bays available on request in the Courtyard entrance of Harlow Museum

Facilities

Parking: Free with admission at The Time Machine and at Harlow Museum and Walled Gardens

Refeshments: At the Leisurezone there is a lounge bar/restaurant and cafe area for our guests to relax and enjoy. Both areas are operated by Churchills Catering. At Harlow Museum and Walled Gardens, we offer light refreshments in our very own ‘Corner Cafe”. Visitors are welcome to bring a packed lunch or snack, to eat in the Courtyard or Walled Gardens (in good weather!)
